Russian Visa Application

If you are residing in the United Kingdom, we can provide our visa service. You may apply for a tourist, business or private visa. Whichever one you need, just follow these simple steps and let us take care of the hard work for you.

1. Required documents

All visa types

To apply for a visa, you will need the following items:

• Original full passport, valid for a minimum of six months after you leave Russia and containing at least two unused pages. Photocopies cannot be accepted.
• One passport photo. Please ensure it meets the photo requirements.
• A completed visa application form. British passport holders please click here to complete the form online.
• Consular fee. This starts from £50 per person, according to processing time, for British passport holders. Plus Consulate service administration fee of £22
• ASLA service charge of £35 per person per application.
• Self addressed envelope for us to return your passport. Please note that we use Royal Mail Special Delivery, therefore you must provide an address where someone will sign for the envelope.

Tourist visa

If you are applying for a tourist visa, you must also supply the following item:

• A tourist voucher or visa support letter (also called a tourist acceptance letter) from a registered Russian tourist company. We can provide this letter for a fee of £20 per person or if you are travelling with one of our approved partner tour operators, we will supply this letter free of charge.

Business visa

If you are applying for a business visa, you must also supply the following item:

• A business invitation (accepted source varies, please ask us) - original copy.

Private visa

If you are applying for a private visa, you must also supply the following item:

• A private invitation original copy.

Other Requirements

If you are a French citizen, you must also supply the following documents:

• A copy of your travel / medical insurance, valid in Russia for the whole period of your stay. Please note that it must either mention Russia by name or be for worldwide cover to be acceptable.
• French passport holders are also required to provide the last three months bank statements and copies of return tickets.

When you have agreed the applicable fee with our visa department, please enclose sterling cheque payable to 'Asla Ltd.' for the full amount. Alternatively you may telephone our office with your credit card details on 01480 433800 (visa department) or 01480 433783 (switchboard).

4. Returning your visa

We will return your passport with visa using the envelope you supply to the address provided. We use Royal Mail Special delivery (guaranteed next day delivery, not Sat and Sun). If you wish to make other arrangements (courier or personal pick up from our office) please advise us.

5. Check Visa Details

When your visa arrives, we strongly recommend that you check it to make sure your details are correct. Incorrect details can result in you being denied entry to Russia. Here is a sample visa with the important details labelled:
